TMI

You know your relationship has reaching a “special” place when your sweet husband asks, “How is your dicharge today?” LOL

And he is so sweet 🙂
I guess all is well. I hate the cream but the benefits outweigh any negative stuff. It seems to be clearing up, but I just don’t know. Every morning I get a little bit of pink but then it seems to go away. I am just tired of always watching the toliet paper.

In other news, it is also flu shot time but I think I am going to wait to get mine. Working in a school makes it so much easier to get icky things like that, but the 1st trimester is a delicate time, so I am going to wait (I was already afraid to use the antibiotics until my nurse assured me it was ok…)

Symptoms:
-Nipples look bigger to me, Barry says (.)(.) have changed in his opinion
-Hungry all the time/balanced with occassional full or weird tummy feeling
-A few uterine twinges
-Posterior pelvic pain
-TIRED all the time

32 days until we are 12 weeks 🙂 And lucky us, Tuesday is just around the corner.

Infection: Yuck

Apparently you should wear a panty liner after using clindamycin phosphate vaginal cream. LOL Underware malfunction for sure!!

My cream is supposed to help with the cervical and vaginal bacterial infection that I have somehow contracted. A friend from one of my FB groups said it was from putting stuff up there. Well, honey, nothing has been “up there” in a very long time. So your guess is as good as mine. But there you have it: infection.

The good news is that it is fairly common and being pregnant makes you more susceptible to infection (pH balance changes and such…).
Who knows?

What did freak me out was that the packaging said specifically NOT to use it during your 1st trimester unless instructed by your doctor. Which got me back on Dr. Google searching.
Which then had me in a panic calling my nurse at 9pm. She said it was perfectly safe and that my doctor wasn’t trying to poison me. lol If the infection went untreated, it could lead to miscarriage or pre-term labor. Yikes! Cream it is. With panty liners, apparently.

Excited for the next ultrasound!! 🙂

7 weeks

I know I’m going to keel over from stress. My eye started twitching today and my blood pressure was a bit high (not dangerous but high).
The good news is that my fears were disproven once again and we have a super healthy little peanut. God, I hear you. I’m a beautiful mess but this is Your’s now. I have to let go.

Heartbeat was about 130 and our peanut grew to 12.9mm- almost an inch! Peanut is measuring 3 days ahead, and we are again over the moon. Poor Barry was anxiety filled…so much so he nearly cried! We are both a mess!!

(This ultrasound at his other office doesn’t seem as clear. :P)

However, I am *not* crazy! I DO have a cervical infection. Which might be an explination for the high blood pressure but more importantly the reason for my back pain and discharge. so I’m very glad we got that taken care of.
Dr. H has become more seemingly compassionate and caring. I don’t feel so bad asking all my questions and he was so kind today. 🙂 happy panda!
We had my thyroid checked today and a few more labs. My shots will be weened down starting the 10th week so it will be nice to stop those soon.
36 needles to the booty so far!!

He said that in another 2 weeks we will have a peanut that looks way more like a baby. He also said that many women have very little symptoms like me, so not to worry.
Oh and for anyone who might be wondering, also found out that a non penatration orgasm can cause spotting.
Yeah.
Sorry, I’m realizing this entry is very jumbled. I’m excited but I have a major headache and I feel like I can’t think straight.

God, thank you so much for another week pregnant. For this tiny precious life!!

I need to write some new positive self talk on my mirror. Keep this “over the moon” feeling for longer than a day and stop living in between ultrasounds.
